If you don’t know where you are going, you will probably end up somewhere else…

Esther Goodyear

In coaching I have found my element. Often clients come to me in a position of frustration, self doubt, unhappiness and uncertainty which ultimately holds them back. To see these people reach their goals, and move forward with their lives in a positive, exciting, fresh new way is truly rewarding.

I work with individuals who are interested in themselves, and who are committed to their personal and professional development. I offer one-to-one solution-focused coaching to enhance performance, develop self-leadership and improve relationship and communication skills.

I am a certified coach and also a certified NLP practitioner with a belief in continuous personal and professional development. I draw on a sound framework, a toolbox of experience and methods to create something real and pragmatic for my clients. As a personal & executive coach, I help clients find solutions and strategies that work for them.

My clients come from a wide variety of backgrounds including financial services, small businesses, art, film, music, new media and marketing. I also have experience coaching in the private, public and voluntary sector.

I understand the importance of connection to one’s self – to goals, aspirations, values and beliefs – the “internal compass”, the essential navigation tool for success. My mission is to give people a real sense of their own capability, opportunity and self worth – and make a difference with it.

I was born in Ghana, educated in the UK and USA, and I am based in London. I am a member of the International Coach Federation (the world’s foremost independent professional coaching body), and the Association for Coaching, and I adhere to their principles and code of professional ethics.

Alongside my practice, I coach free of charge for a charity called Teach First (www.teachfirst.co.uk), with a mission to address the educationally disadvantaged by transforming exceptional graduates into effective, inspirational teachers and leaders in their field.

Coaching crystallised many of my interests, primarily psychology and working with people to make a difference. If I were to describe my style it would be honest, direct and laced with a good sense of humour.

It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you feel you are not
